Meet My Kitties

Sandy aka Sandy Cat, was our first baby. We got her on the way home from our honeymoon at the beach. That is why we called her Sandy. Hehe, clever huh? She has a majestic and stoic quality. Very authoritative over the other cats. I love that she talks to me when I ask her questions, head butts constantly like a little goat and has the growl of a cougar. She has a special place in my heart and I call her my unicorn. She spends most of her time sleeping on an afghan and searching for cookies to steal. She loves curling up on the couch next to us when we watch movies.

Marie aka Marie Antoinette is our most recent addition to our little family. She was a birthday present that came to me. We named her Marie Antoinette because my birthday is the same as the historical figure. Sadly, someone abandoned her when she was just a kitten. We found her living in the bush by the front porch. She was thin and matted and jumped into our arms! We couldn't say no to her and quickly brought her inside to feed her and find her home. But she had already found her home and since then has shown no interest in going back outside. We found out later that she had a jaw birth defect and it was easily fixed by removing some teeth so she could close her mouth. She is big and fluffy and requires every day brushing and eye drops. But her flat little face and cuddling and kneading makes it all worth it. She is the most docile and gentle out of all the cats. She spends her time curled up in multiple locations around the house and bouncing around like a bunny making pigeon noises. She is the most difficult of the kitties to photograph so I will keep trying!

Wednesday aka Wednesday Addams is our craziest cat. She is the forever kitten and part-siamese which equals some nutty behavior. She is a ninja with razor sharp claws and perches atop doors awaiting her prey. She joined us around Halloween and that is why we named her Wednesday Addams. Full of energy, she spends her days getting into trouble and trying to figure out where to put her toys. She spends her nights purring loudly, sleeping on top of us and rubbing her jowls on our faces. She has a high pitch meow and goes off like an alarm if you step too close to her. But at night, she is a cuddle bug and the sweetest kitty ever.

We love our kitties very much! They are strictly indoor kitties. After a couple visits to the vet from cat fight scratches, it was an easy decision. They are very happy in our little house, playing with each other, waiting for their next cat snack and clean litter box. They recently got new collars and bells and the house got a lot noisier!

I hope you enjoyed my kitty post. More to come!

Aren't they all adorable. I have 2cats and it is so interesting how their personalities are so different from one another.

Our calico kitty is the craziest of all. She loves chasing imaginary bugs and has a knack for being able to open my cabinets and sleeping in my big cooking pot.
She is so silly.

You have some pretty kitties. I wish we didn't have cat allergies, cause we would totally have one. We always watch the kitties at the pet store..

Becky- We do miss them! We worry about what they are doing and if they have enough food. Then we come home and they barely eat...I guess they get nervous we are never coming back!
