2010: Year in Review

My first blog post was on August 26th so it hasn't been a full year here at The Nearsighted Owl but still a lot to look back on!

You've seen an owl from my collection each week.

Met my kittehs and got to know their little unique personalities.

You saw me become a vegetarian and I told my story.

There has been some Outfit of the Day posts.

And each Sunday found out what I love and heard some of my favorite music.

I shared my style crushes.

And you got to know me too.

You've seen my hair go from a couple inches long to a little more.

I gave you some recipes and a few drawings.

You followed me around all day.

I turned 28 and celebrated.

The mister and I went on some adventures.

And were a little silly!

We reminisced over old photographs.

I retaught myself to crochet.

We said goodbye to Fall...

And hello to Winter and now the New Year!

In 2010, I posted 175 times and gained 153 followers. You awesome owlets left me 899 comments and I couldn't be more thankful for this community! I am constantly inspired, amazed and encouraged by all of you. I can't wait to see what 2011 brings! I am hoping for a relaunch of my Etsy shop and more photography by me. 

It's been a great year! Happy New Year everybody!

I love her put together look! Young, Fat and Fabulous is exactly that!

She can rock the shoulder pads and skinny jeans.

I love the long straight bangs and am waiting for my hair to grow out enough for them.

Oh My Clumsy Hands

I had a very clumsy morning! Slipped and fell, husband came running, freaked out kitties scratched his back and I was laying there like the "I fell and can't get up" commercials. Thankfully, I didn't hurt myself more than a few bent back toes and sore butt cheeks. Now, I am even more reminded that I really need to go to the chiropractor soon. I am not super clumsy but every so often I slip on invisible bananas and land flat on the ground!

Wishing all my owlets a wonderful holiday! Here are some peeks of my little house all decorated for Christmas. I made a lot of trips to the thrift store last year picking up vintage items. They were hard to find and had to do a lot of digging around but it was worth it!
