Stop at even the humblest of stores. I like junk stores and charity stores the most.
Look at every section for items. You might find what you want in the wrong section or just in a strange place.
Avoid buying things you don't have a place for or a use for. It can be tempting when you see something really cute!
But sometimes, something grabs you and you have to have it! I bought this mushroom canister for $10 on sale.
Keep an eye out for colors and themes you like.
Take note of shops you like so you can go back on your next trip.
If it is too expensive, skip it. You will probably find it somewhere else or thrifting for much cheaper.
Even the smallest touches, like old books can spruce up a boring shelf.
If you want to spend the time, carefully go through piles or stacks of things. Like records!
And of course, enjoy it! Even window browsing is interesting.
We went to the beach this weekend and went to a lot of antique shops. It was a blast! I'll be posting more beach photos this week.

You two sure know how to have a lot of fun! great photos, and i love thrift stores!
yes the junk stores are the best because there is MORE hidden treasure...people are lazy and if it isn't easy for them to sift through then they won't look! i have found some great treasures sifting through piles of junk!
