Hello! I know you haven't seen my face in a while! So here I am. To be honest, I have been a little under the weather with my back. But I found a chiropractor that cracked the shit out of me and I am soooo happy! Seriously, my last chiro was not doing the trick and I really wanted one that was not afraid to jump on top of me and get this girl in shape. It also makes me happy that they sponsor The Rose City Rollers and pass tickets on to their clients! But the real reason for this post is to give you a peek into how I do my drawings and what I use. I have had some questions about if I do part of the drawing on paper or if I do it entirely on the computer. Surprisingly, It is all done on the computer! I use "pencil" and "watercolor".
I use a Wacom Bamboo Tablet (similar model) and pen with Corel Painter Essentials 3. It is not the most expensive tablet you can buy but it does the trick. With a lot of practice, it has become second nature.
Here is a video showing a timelapse of drawing the lion:
Music provided by Karen O and the Kids "All is Love".
Hope you enjoyed this inside look into how I do my drawings!

Thanks for the peek! It's encouraging to hear it does become more natural over time. I don't have one yet, but would love to try out some things in the future. Nice work. :)
Firstly, I'm glad you're feeling better! Secondly I love the video, the lion is extra boss, though I am a lil biased ;)
You should! It is so much fun :)
You should! It is like crafting for the lazy ;)
I am starting to feel a lot better. Had my 2nd chiro appt and have another next week.
I got your comment and was like "beat you to it!"

Me too! I don't want to feel like a little old lady anymore. The lion is in my top list too.
