This is what happens when you let your pixie cut grow (here and here). I have become quite skilled with hiding short layers in bobby pins and piggy tails. I am not sure if I am going to trim it back into the pixie again. I am enjoying my short bob for now.

I have also noticed that my blog has received a lot of traffic from Google searches of people looking for cute short hair for us bigger folks (hi, guys! thanks for stopping by). I have been meaning to do some proper photos and such of myself and address some of the questions but I have been a little been under the weather with my back. Then I had a very unattractive sunburn and sun-rash and just wasn't quite ready for my close-up! But thanks to some speedy anti-inflammatory medication and my totally awesome Conan news, I am beaming so I took some quick photobooth photos before a friend came over for game night.
I also have new glasses! They are black cat-eyes with a purplish pink interior and I love em! I used to have black frames and sort of missed the statement and contrast that black frames provide. I have pale and pink skin and I think they compliment my complexion more than the brown frames. It is not easy picking out frames, considering they will be on my face for the next two years! What are you all up to this weekend?

The last time I had short hair I was so much thinner (and younger). I've been wanting to cut it! This is so cute on you but you have the perfect universal face for it.

You look adorable! I've been debating cutting my hair for months now. Even though it's pretty long now, I still feel like I'm a short hair person. I wonder if I'll ever make up my mind...

See, I'd love to have more fashion forward looking hair, although I'm more of a long hair person, but I think I'd have to know what forward I wanted to head towards, because anytime I go to the hairdressers, they just want to put in layers to frame my face...which totally code for "lets hide some of that fat there, dear". I too have a thing for black frames, but I'm probably slightly paler and not as pink in my paleness, so I think dark brown is the most I'd manage to get away with!

haha, I am one of the ones who searched for "plus size short hair cuts" There are not many pictures of actual bigger girls with short hair, mostly just pics of skinny models saying, try this hair! Glad I found your blog though because it is awesome! I so want to cut my hair super short (like Jennifer Goodwin or Michelle Williams short) but I still get scared about showing off my double chin, but I think a shit ton of layers and chunkyness in the crown area can actually balance out my chin because right now it just lays very flat. Anyways, so excited to keep reading your blog.
This is almost exactly what I was going to write! I just wanted to say that visiting this blog gave me the courage to go and get 10 inches chopped off for Locks of Love. I'd been wanting to, but I was too scared of what my poor little round face would come out looking like with super short hair. However, after reading your blogs and looking at your pics, I got the gumption up, and about an hour ago I went and got it chopped off. The hair is in the mail to LoL, and I'm LOVING my hair. I feel so confident and pretty. Keep writing & taking pics, and I'll keep reading!
