On my last day of work before a three-day weekend.
We saw Devo and Boy Eats Drum Machine last night and Bridesmaids earlier this week. We even walked across the street with Fred Armisen. He is in Portland filming Portlandia.
Oktoberfest today in Mt. Angel. I wish my house looked like that!
Saw the prettiest matryoshka dolls and I bought a teeny kitty one.
The happiest sleeping pig at the petting zoo.
A shy horse
and an equally shy pygmy goat.
Wolf and moon mug at the thrift store.
My new pet owl, Wilbur.
Making lentil soup and drinking coffee.

I really enjoyed this collection of photos; I've been going through your pages and I just love everything I'm seeing. I keep thinking to myself, ''leave a comment here, leave a comment there'' and I don't want to bomboard you with a thousand little annoying messages all over the place but the pygmy goats deserved some extra love.
And the lentils looked so good I could taste them!
The matryoshka dolls, are they the same as russian dolls? Is my term for them just a lazy-mans name?
*and I really don't know why I threw that 'o' into bombard..... :)
I love babushka dolls and art. It's so beautiful.
We watch Portlandia around here too much. My 8 year old son loves it (the expurgated version) and even though he lives in the south of Australia, wants to go visit this magic place!

How wonderful! It is so funny that people are hearing all our inside jokes and Portland-isms.
Thanks for the sweet comment! Matryoshka is the Russian name for them so I try to use it, but some people say nesting dolls or Russian dolls too.
