Last Saturday, we went downtown and to my favorite place-
Fat Fancy!
I got this jean jacket. It has a modern fit and reminds me of my mother a little, but I still love it! It will be great this summer with a sun dress on the chillier days or at the coast.
Fat Fancy is the best! They are a vintage and modern plus size clothing shop in Portland. Before they had the lovely store, they were running out of a basement in North Portland and I went back then too. Plus,
Beth Ditto shops there and
Leslie Hall sells her clothing there. I went to the grand opening and Beth and the Portland Mayor were there. The ladies that run it are also super sweet. It is amazing that we have this store!
I have been trying to convince them to sell me the owl wall hangings forever!
Fat Fashion Revolution NOW!
Then we went to
Compound and I spotted this awesome inflatable moose head. They are an art gallery and store. They have a lot of Japanese toys, books and I always buy Pocky when I am there.
We decided to find a cart village to eat at. I swear you can walk two block in any direction in Portland and find a
food cart these days.
We had falafel sandwiches at Sabria's Arabic Food that were very yummy! The mister took
these photos of me while we waited for our falafel to cook.
Then we hit the classic arcade,
Ground Kontrol and met with some friends for beers.
They recently remodeled and it is quite fancy in there now. The bathroom has Pacman tiles and Tron-like lit-up sinks. The tables lit up too. I finished the evening off like any normal adult, with a sundae. And a cherry on top!
