I'm Rebecca Brown, and I started "we are large, people" in 2010 to help me mix my love of fashion with my passion for helping women see their true self worth. My personal mission is to stamp out low self esteem and false limitations, and to help women see themselves as truly beautiful, not just inside, but outside too!
I chose the name "we are large, people" to convey the idea that women are powerful and that we have a voice and a presence that is important. Also, it's a nod to my own plus-sized, fashionable self.

Hi! My name is Yadira and I am a crafter from Puerto Rico sweating my face off in winter. My main passions are sewing, embroidery and crochet.
