Oh boy, I was looking back at my previous outfit posts and noticed that sometimes I looked a little stiff and uncomfortable. I figured this might have been because I was over-directing the mister when he was taking the photos. I was too serious! So I told him that I would like him to take photos and he can do it however he wanted and I would just go with it. I only told him to take some horizontal photos (because they fit better in a post) and the results were much better! I think this is my favorite outfit post so far. I feel like this is actually how I look in real life. It was also starting to rain and we took photos super quick. Sometimes, it is better to try a little less and live a little more.

Yep, this is actually a dress for a much smaller person but I liked the cut and pattern and the way it fit as a shirt. So I sort of hike up a little and make it work!
Today is my Friday but I am a little nervous for my dad and his surgery. I am keeping positive that it will go well and will be a good opportunity to slow down and spend some time with him. I am not the best person at sending birthday cards or making phone calls but I hope that people know how I really feel. Family is very important to me and I show it in my own way, like making homemade presents and reinstalling Windows when your computer keeps crashing.
And from now on, I promise to stop being a backseat photographer!

(I don't know why, but I hate wearing dresses... well, not hate, but I never feel comfortable in them! I don't like a lot of leg showing! ...Plus, I don't know how to sit in them, haha.) I realized shortly after having my beau take photos for me that giving him direction was pointless...hence why I have a bunch of photos of me prancing and dancing around like tinkerbell. Also...love this outfit! I'm a sucker for stripes.
I hope all goes well with your dad today. I'm not the best in regards to the obvious ways of showing you care either...but I think they still know it :)

I don't show my legs much either! Mostly because of comfort and thigh rubbage. Gonna get some little bike short type things this summer so I can show off my gams!
