New Link Up: I am Proud of My Size

All sizes are beautiful! Don't be ashamed of your number or keep it from living your life and doing what you love. There is no perfect size or wrong size. Our size doesn't determine our worth. Nobody has the right to judge someone's health by their size. So let's show the world that every size can be happy and that we are not ashamed! I would love to see all different sizes represented in this link up. Whether you are a size 0 or a size 32, participate! It can be a big step if you are still on a journey to accept your body but I hope that as a group, we can support each other and admire our awesome fashion! I am making this a weekly feature so each link up will be open for one week. You can add your link anytime during the week.

The rules are simple! Post a photo of yourself on your blog, being stylish that week. Post a full body shot, so head to toe! State your size in your blog post or with a graphic on your photo. I used picmonkey and overlapped a couple star shapes to make my size badge. At the bottom of this post, you will find a button to use and a link tool to add your link. I hope to also share my favorites each week. I can't wait to check out your links, guys! I am proud of my size!

top : thrifted
jeggings : lane bryant
purse : fat fancy
flats : payless
necklace : grandma's
glasses : coastal

I wore this to go to dinner and antiquing with the mister. I felt really feminine in this outfit with my kitty pendant necklace and newly cut bangs. I can't believe this top was originally from Walmart! The lace details and fit are right on.

I love this idea for a link-up! I've been having silly body issues lately, so this is perfect! I probably won't be able to post my link until this weekend though!

YES!!! Sing it sista!! I'm all about it.  We should do some sort of collaboration on self-love stuff. I would be so honored to team up with you! :)

Awesome idea. Right now I'm pregnant so I'm all sorts of changing sizes and don't even know, but I love this idea! :)

You look awesome in the photo - I'm not surprised you are proud m'lady!!

I'm not sure I can validly link up really. I am happy in my skin, don't get me wrong (it has taken a good number of years for that to be the case believe me).

But..... I am training to run a 5K then a half marathon (hopefully next year). So, I am actively losing weight.

I think though that because there is a specific fitness target goal (rather than weight loss/size related) it is healthier.

I don't hate myself at my current size (although I am rarely pleased with photos of me to be totally honest) so it feels right for me.

I am loving your look though - I'd love to join in but I'm not sure this linky is for me after all.

I will be checking out the results though!

I love that you say you feel feminine in this outfit !! I am the exact same ... I wear dresses for comfort and when I want to feel a little more feminine I definitely reach for something more similar to this !!  www.heartandthrift.blogspot.com

This is such a great idea! I totally love it! I already posted today with something totally unrelated, but in my next outfit post I will definitely get involved. This is such a wonderful idea, there is so much body bashing going on at the moment, towards both ends of the spectrum. I love that you are being all inclusive. Thanks so much for the chance to get involved xo

Now that I'm over my initial excitement: you look SO pretty, Rachele! I love that shirt - oddly enough, I never liked brown as a clothing color choice on me... Until I found a cute brown shirt and thought "why not?" So I tried and oh my god... Goes so good with my hair/skin!

I also LOVE your pendant, but you probably knew I would, the crazy cat lady that I am. ;)

Rachele said...

Geez lady, you are all over me like white on rice! ;) But seriously, I almost peed my pants when I got your email. The answer is yes! Let's get married! Oh wait...a different kind of team. Well I guess I can settle. Email coming soon!

Rachele said...

Yes, you better! I am still thinking of something we can team up for but maybe this awesome enough? #imlazy

Rachele said...

You have all week! Can't wait to see :) P.S. I bet you are totally gorgeous and I hope you don't worry about your size anymore.

Rachele said...

Thank you! You guys are awesome for responding so quickly.

Rachele said...

I had a feeling you would :) I hope you link up!

Rachele said...

Haha, pregnant ladies can be proud of their size. You should be even more proud! Your body is getting big for a purpose. I really hate all the pressure that pregnant women get about their weight and losing it after their baby is born. Seriously, do what feels right for you and your baby. The extra weight doesn't mean you are unhealthy and doing anything wrong. It is what is supposed to happen and allows you to do amazing things! Okay, I'll stop ranting. But I hope to see you on here beautiful lady!

Rachele said...

Oo la la! I love it when you get all perdy for me ;)

Rachele said...

I understand! This is a "no diet talk" space on the interwebs. It is definitely your body and you can do what you want. I have no problem with fitness or exercising :)

Rachele said...

Thanks for participating!

Rachele said...

It is weird! You would think that pants would make you fill less feminine but I guess there is something about the tight pants. I don't usually accessorize as much as I did here too which makes me feel a little more girly.

Rachele said...

Thank you dear!

Rachele said...

Awesome! I hope to see you link <3

Rachele said...

Thank you! I will be checking it out soon!

Rachele said...

Yes, I know what you mean. I don't think it is fair to promote body acceptance but then say people are too skinny. Body issues are around all sizes. I am doing this every week too so if you miss this week you can join in next week, etc!

Rachele said...

Yay! That makes me happy! Thank you for being so supportive :)

Rachele said...

Thank you! Can't wait to see all the babeness :)

Rachele said...

Thank you! I loovvee brown. It definitely makes us palies look nice and warm.

And the pendant was in a box of jewelry my grandmother gave me. It is my favorite!

Rachele said...

P.S. You can also change the width # in the button code to make it smaller. It says 212 right now.

Sara said...

Oh, yes, I am definitely proud of what my body is doing and all that comes with it, including my size, it's just that I really don't know what that size is because it's ever changing, which makes it kind of hard to pin down a particular size or anything to holler from the rooftops, you know? :) I'm definitely doing what's best for me and baby though and agree that the pressures are silly and unnecessary, no worries there. :)

Rachele said...

Oh, haha! That makes sense. Well, you are still welcome to participate if you want to and can ballpark your size :)

this is an incredible idea, definitely going to take part x

I love this idea! I so want to link up! And I love your hair-color. Gorgeous!
I have one question: when you say size, should I be posting dress size, or jean size? For me, they're two very different numbers, although I'd probably use the dress size since I rarely wear jeans.

Rachele said...

Thank you! Would love to have you join. You can use whatever sizing you are most familiar with.

Rachele said...

Awesome possom!

Rachele said...

Lovely!

Despite this now being closed. I'm still going to write a post. It is so inspiring. Congratulations!
