The Sole Sisters is a film project collecting stories about women’s lives seen through personal stories about their shoes. They asked me to write about any pair of shoes that have made an impact on me as a woman and how they have helped me promote such a positive body image. You can read my story on their blog here. My story is not about spending big moolah on high heels but more about how you can feel awesome in cheap-ass jellies!
Sarah from Well and Cheaply asked me to write about kids and having them or not having them. It isn't something I talk about on my own blog much. But I thought it would be fun to open up and contribute to her Women and Children series. You can read my personal story here!

Loved your post on Sarah's blog! :)
Hi Rachele I love your blog and find myself nodding along to so much of your writing but I never comment - so I did today on both your guest post and here :)
Loved the post it really struck a cord with me
I just read your post. I could relate to it SO much. People are always asking my boyfriend and I, "When are you guys getting married?" "When are you having kids?!" Its like, "Okay, just because we aren't rushing into things doesn't mean we can't just enjoy our time together, grow and be ready with a home and stable income to provide for the little ones." Sometimes people rush too fast into things. I want to be ready and it has been five years we've been together. Doesn't mean that window is closing, it's getting built. (;
