I've been in new phone world! Does this happen to you too? Whenever I get a new phone I spend at least a day fiddling with it and downloading apps and everything else gets ignored. I got my upgrade last night at the mall and am surprised I didn't run straight into someone since my head was down as I intently set it up. You probably shouldn't plan on walking around the mall after such a purchase!
We have been using Android phones for the last 4 years and am no stranger to the smartphone. I used to have this huge Nokia before smartphones were even popular and I have been taking and sharing phone pictures long before Instagram. So there! But anyway, I went from the HTC G2 to a Samsung Galaxy S II in white. I realize that the III is out but there wasn't anything on the III that I wanted to spend extra money on. The way it worked out after changing our plan, we are saving money. Almost like I was paid to have a fancier phone! I love the big beautiful screen, 8 megapixel camera, front-facing camera, HD video and how purty it is. I am a phone geek.

I just got my Iphone 4s a few months ago and i still can't put it down!
Such a cute phone. And I still am fiddling with my phone a lot.I got it 3 weeks ago. Ha.
Nice looking phone, though I'm an iPhone girl. But if I had to choose something else this looks a good bet! I know what you mean about getting absorbed into your phone when you get a new one. I remember when I went from an old Nokia to my iPhone 3GS - I opened the box on the bench in the mall!!
I have an iPhone, but this phone looks just as kick ass. I love how the bottom lights up like that. Also, thanks for all the great app listings. I was able to find the Goodreads one for the iPhone. I am super excited!!
I recently got my first smartphone and its a glalaxy too, only its an older version but I love it. I was so set on getting an iphone because almost everyone I know has one but I'm just happy that I am in the smartphone family now. Your phone looks awesome. Im still getting used to a lot of it.
I really like Shazam, it records songs you may hear out and about and it tracks down the artist name

I'm an android user too, I have a LG L7, one of my favorites apps is pixlr o-matic is a kind of instagram but u can download lots of effects and filters and change the quality of the picture :) i like man with camera, is a collection of lomography cameras u can use them :) and action sampler, for taking 4 pictures in one :D make it 3d is fot taking two pictures and see them in blue and red :D
so I have super gnes (for playing super nintendo games on you phone like mario=D) and gameboid it's a game boy emulator, i love to play pokemon on my phone =D
draw something! yeahhhh girl!!! love it! and I do the same thing when I get a new phone. I dont like figuring it out as the days go. I like to figure it all out the day or second day I get it.
There's a game called Alchemy that's super addictive! And I love Astrid Tasks for grocery lists and whatnot.
I have this EXACT phone - in white & T Mobile and everything! :) I love it and am still figuring it out even though I've had it for a couple of months, lol If you like Bejeweled type games, definitely download 'Jewel Star' (it's free) It is SOOOO addicitive, my favorite is the 'arcade' part of the game. I second the Shazam recommendation, it is so awesome! I also enjoy the Spotify & Pandora apps for listening to music. I am looking forward to checking out the cool photo apps you mentioned. :)
I love "Check Please" app for calculating tips and splitting the bill. And I just found a period tracker app from another blogger yesterday. Kinda weird to talk to on a blog, but the app is awesome and so useful. I also have the Google Reader app to read all the blogs I follow on my phone.
