Fatkini time! I have been looking forward to wearing this bikini ever since I ordered it from Simply Be. What's that? A 300 pound woman shouldn't be buying or wearing a bikini? Sorry, can't hear you! I am too busy being fabulous. I went to Chunky Dunk again and meant to take photos while I was there. But I didn't. So I will recreate the scene for you!
Before Rachele loved herself, she would have hidden and been embarrassed.
But now that Rachele loves herself, she is happy to have arrived in her bikini. She waves at the beautiful people already in the pool. She can't wait to join them now that she is confident and realizes her own beauty.
In the interest of not hiding parts of my body or angles, here is a peek at my secret dimples. I have always had them. They were passed on to me by the women in my family and I love them! Now you have seen it all.
God bless Simple Be for making a bikini in my size. There are not many places in this world where you can get a bikini in size 24 that isn't high waisted. Oh, and I didn't keep it away from fire. It has been on my smokin' ass.
Bikini, you are not scary! You are not just for a specific shape. You don't intimidate me with your little triangles and lack of belly coverage. I don't see fangs and slime anymore when I see you. I have conquered the beast! I want to squeeze you and love you! I want to take your photo and frame you and add you to my accomplishments. Because you are really just a sweet little kitten with tickly whiskers.
What have you conquered?
My mission:
All sizes are beautiful! Don't be ashamed of your number or keep it from living your life and doing what you love. There is no perfect or wrong size. It doesn't determine our worth and nobody has the right to judge someone's health by their size. So let's show the world that every size can be happy and that we are not ashamed!
How to participate:
I would love to see all different sizes represented in this link up. Whether you are a 0 or 32, participate! This is a weekly feature so each link up will be open for one week. You can add your link anytime during the week. All genders, sexes and non-genders are welcome to join in. Use whatever sizing you are most familiar with. You can link up with me every week with a new post or join in every once in a while! The rules are simple. Post a photo of yourself on your blog, being stylish that week. Post a full body shot, so head to toe! State your size in your blog post or with a graphic on your photo. No diet talk, weight loss talk, negativity or any type of body shaming allowed. This is about being happy with your size and shape, not because it is socially acceptable, healthy or better than others. Then come back here and add your link using the link tool at the end of this post.

You ROCK that fatkini! Well done you for putting yourself out there and being an inspiration to other ladies and gents with body issues. I myself will be taking the plunge next week with a tankini. Sadly no fatkini can hold my gigantic boobs. x
I had a discussion with my boyfriend the other day that I think 'back dimples' are the sexiest 'non-private' part of the body. And that I think they are equally hot on men and ladies.
Yours are equally adorable.
Love the bikini.
Lookin' amazing, as always! And I love your sassy writing style, have I mentioned that? Go you!
You are an inspiration, lady! :) GREAT bikini - you look fabulous! :)

You really made my day and are an inspiration to all women! Reading a post like this really accentuates your beauty and moves me to change the way I think about myself. You are so brave to do something you fear. You're right, you tamed that bikini and look what a nice bathing suit it turned out to be. :)
Rachele, you are the best. Such a hero. Your confidence and self-love is so inspiring. I hope that woman around the world are seeing this and reading this and realizing for themselves that they are beautiful, no matter what their size. You look gorgeous, as you always do. Embrace that bod of yours and that adorable bikini! I hope you have many more amazing swimming experiences this summer.

Rock it girl! I wore a two piece this year because I just didn't care anymore of what people would think :) Though I never liked regular bikini bottoms an wore the shorts instead (just as short but less wedgies if you know what I mean?) it was still a two piece! You are a beautiful and strong lady so stay strong and keep loving your dimples :)

That swimsuit is adorable and you are ROCKIN' it! And, I have those same dimples in my lower back, I passed them on to my son. LOL. It's one of the first things my husband noticed about our new son. He said "You have the same dimples on your butt mommy has."
You didn't follow the directions on the tag. It says keep away from fire. And you my friend are EN FUEGO. Thanks for sharing, your confidence is contagious. I am also very jealous of those dimples, I've always thought they were sexy.

Oh, and I didn't keep it away from fire. It has been on my smokin' ass
this is the very best thing I have read all day or even all week.
Totally rocking that swimsuit. You're a very inspirational lady. Since joing your "Proud of My Size" link-up, I've made it my goal to wear my dresses and skirts without tights this summer. I've been much cooler and more comfortable this summer thanks to that pledge :)
I now have "secret dimple envy":) Loved this post.
I love everything about this post!
Rachele, you look lovely. Your confidence inspires me immensely. If someone should learn how to have self-love, its from you. Thank you for everything. Lossa love.

awesome!!! you are a beautiful woman!!!....you are inspiring women to feel good as we are!! thank you!
Hey Rachele,
I love your blog and would of loved to participate in your link up as i recently purchased my first bikini in 23 years and i am a UK size 18, before I read this blog id of never been seen dead in a bikini as id of been too paranoid of my wobbly bits putting everyone off their tea but now reading this Ive decided to take a stand and broadcast my stretch marks with pride! I had my son 10 months ago and have been struggling with my weight for a number of years!, but I am now slowly starting to accept that I wasn't made to be stick thin! So i thank you for the inspiration you have given many fuller figured women including myself!
