I have been looking for the perfect teapot and found it! Well, the mister found it. I bought a mushroom one a while back without really checking it. I got it home and found that it had a lot of rust inside so I haven't been able to use it. Now I have a lovely one to use!
Some more creepy little girl paintings! The mister says they remind him of Children of the Damned or something. Whatever! They are totally adorable and I am looking for a spot in the house where they will always be looking at him. You can see the similar ones I have here. They keep falling into my lap and I couldn't be happier about it.
Grandma placemats and a strawberry potholder. I have a small collection of grandma-made stuff for the kitchen. It warms my heart a little when I think about a sassy little old lady crafting up quilted placemats. One time, I even got them from the source. Rad!
More scarves to add to my growing collection. It has been a little hot to wear scarves on my head lately, but I am gonna rock them all fall and winter.
My favorite find recently is these mushroom glasses! I desperately looked for more but just found the two different sizes. They are absolutely perfect.
Plus this little glass will go well with others I have. What is this style called?
I also found this little kitty that looks like Marie.
And because I like to alway pick out at least one record, I picked this compilation. I was immediately drawn to the cover but there are some good songs on it too. Like "If I had a Hammer" by Johnny Cash and June Carter.
Everything is beautiful!

What great thifts! Those really are Children of the Damned portraits. I love the mushroom glasses too, they remind me David the Gnome for some reason. Cute!
I love the kitty figurine! yay cat ladies unite! :)
Wonderful finds! I have an affinity for tacky grandma-made things too, I have some lovely pink and green crocheted placemats my own grandma made that I totally treasure.
Love your scarf finds!
i love the cover of that record! i also can't resist grandma made things. i have 15 pot holders, and seven of them are so pretty and well made i can't use them. haha.
Love the record, I just set up my record player and in the process of dragging out all of my records. Keep buying the vinyl.
I love those little glasses! Recently, while digging through antiques stored in the barn, I found two bowls (different sizes of course) with mushrooms on it. I love them so much that I don't really want to use them, but that will change eventually I'm sure.
That glasses you got are so pretty and cool. But the last one especially is very different.
That's some great stuff! I really love the tea kettle. And here's to granny crafts!
What great finds!

Thanks! They were pretty squeal-worthy for me :D
Here here! I feel like they have magic powers that make me buy them.
I find ones like the amber colored glass all the time! I like to have a mix matched set of little glasses for wine :)
Jealous! They had it right in the 70's.
Yes! We must keep the vinyl alive.
You always find the cutest grandma stuff. It's the best.
Thank you! I find them every time I thrift and will have to share more about them one day.
Cat lady power!
Haha, I love that show! I definitely enjoy the woodsy looking things.
I like how they look like they are devishly petting the kitten and holding the flowers. I see craziness in the eyes.
I wish I had more!
Amazing finds! We have GOT to go thrifting together sometime!
Not sure what style of glasses they are, but 70's for sure. Try posting it on Reckonthatis.com and see if someone there can tell you.
that teapot is so lovely! i have been looking for one recently, too! maybe you could find another use for the other rusty one? i know you made little terrariums before so perhaps some little cacti or succulents would look neat in an old teapot!
All great finds. I would totally frame that album cover! I think that style of glass is maybe depression glass? We have a bunch of similar glass from the Indiana Glass Co. that looks like it could be as well.
