I found two cameras in the box I store all my film and film camera accessories. I found a silver one that was the mister's and a purple one that was mine. They are these cheap plastic cameras that you used to be able to buy at the drug store preloaded with film. They put a little sticker on the film door and if you bring it back to have your film developed they will give you a new roll of 35mm for free. The film inside was at least 10 years old.
I brought in our two little dusty cameras with my hopeful sticker intact. Surprisingly, the photo lab employee popped them open without hesitation and promptly replaced the film per the agreement made ten years ago. Voila! I came back an hour later and picked up my prints. They are a mix of old photos and new photos that I took to use up the rolls. Most of them are over-exposed, grainy or nothing came out at all. So I layered them on top of each other and made some pretty double-exposed photos.
These are the really old ones.
Back when our blinds hadn't been destroyed by cats yet.
Ah, to be 19 again!
This was when my stereo was stolen.
Sandy joined us for a game of Scrabble.
This time, I won't wait 10 years to get my fresh roll!

Aw, you were so young! I love these pictures:D And I'm a fan of double exposures as well, so really enjoyed these. The one with the white cat is super eerie, very cool!
