OOTD: Hello September!

August was filled with lots of dates with the mister and challenging my body image confidence. I am really happy with myself for taking summer by the balls and wearing actual summer clothing! I thrifted this dress and it fits me like a glove. It is brown, stretchy and has retro details. Exactly my kind of dress!

dress : thrifted
vintage scarf : thrifted
kitty brooch : thrifted
flats : payless
glasses : coastal
brownie camera : thrifted

So, what's in store for September? I have lots of thrifted finds to share with you and hopefully will be having some film developed. I would love to be able to do a few drawing projects and get back into reading again. Fall is approaching and I am not complaining! I have lots of Skins (UK Series) and Breaking Bad to watch.

We probably have a few more sweaty days in store and will be busy nursing Sandy back to health. She has been under the weather with some mouth issues and not eating very well. It sound's so silly, but I think the outside kitty that visits her through the window has been giving her anxiety and when she is stressed, she pants and drools. And then she gets irritations and feline acne. So we have to brush her teeth and feed her wet food until she feels better. She just ate a big plate of raw food so she is feeling better now! Being a kitty parent is hard because they can't tell you what is wrong and you don't notice that they aren't eating right away when you have three of them. But we love them and look forward to curling up on the warm couch when the chilly days start.

Oh, and I did something drastic with my hair. But I have two more outfit photos taken with this hair! This week will be about catching up so I can make my big reveal.

Thanks for being such nice and supportive readers!

I'm absolutely head over heels with that brooch! I need one in my life! This entire outfit is lovely. I thought it was a skirt and top until you said it was a dress. Great find!

Love those flats and you look great in that dress :)

Poor Sandy...hope she's feeling better soon. I hate it when my kitteh babies are under the weather.

Hope Sandy feels better! Sounds like you're taking great care of her. I had to take my dog to the emergency vet for  overnight this morning because he ate 10 chocolate muffins :(  It's heartbreaking to see our pets in distress.

Cute outfit! I need to build my scarf collection! The tutorial you did totally helped me figure out how to tie a head scarf.

Everything is amazing, but that brooch is divine!  And I'm not even a cat person! :)
