OOTD: Wes Anderson Dress

I have had this dress put away for a while, like I was saving it for a special reason. I found this treasure at Fat Fancy and almost lost my fucking mind when I saw it. There is something magical about finding something vintage and unique in your size when you are at least a size 22. Something you can actually eat and breath in without tearing out every old and decrepit stitch. I spent a lot of my younger years drooling over vintage dresses that would never, ever fit me. So now I can let go of my raging jealousy! I think I look like either a librarian or a character from a Wes Anderson movie. Both good things in my book.

dress : fat fancy
shoes : payless
glasses : coastal

Speaking of Fat Fancy, I had a very exciting day on Saturday that involved their awesome store. I will give you a clue. It involved about 10 other lovely ladies and way too many sweets than we could devour. I think it ranks up there with one of the best days in my life and I am sure there will be at least two blog posts to cover it all.

Besides my perfect day, we spent the weekend drinking whiskey sours and watching scary movies in our pajamas. I also picked up on my reading again. The hardest part for me is choosing a book. I have plenty of free books on my kindle app from fkb but couldn't make myself pick one. So I ended up borrowing three from the library and am already a third of the way through one of them. I probably waste more time picking movies and books than I do watching and reading them, I swear. I keep my Goodreads updated while I read if you want to follow along. But Rachele's Reading will finally be returning soon to give you the low down on what I read!

The collar in the back and built-in tie in the front are kick ass.

What did you guys do this weekend?

- Rachele

Whoa. That dress is perfection. The colors go REALLY nicely with the pinker-toned hair. And I'm still a wee bit jelly about the shopping event. Wish I could have made it down for that.
