This outfit looks like I have been crowned something. So I crown myself the Thrifting Queen! Also, my wait is finally over and my hold on the A Game of Thrones books finally came through for Kindle from my library. I have been waiting patiently for months while everybody else is reblogging memes about the TV show on Tumblr and being all in the loop and stuff. That seems relevant because of the book title but I really have no idea what the books are about. I was just told that I would like them and I have decided to stay away from reviews and synopses so that nothing would be ruined for me. This also means I have 21 days to read 4 books. One of the catches of reading free digital books from the library, is that you can't renew titles if someone else has a hold on them. I could buy them if I don't finish in time but geez, $30 seems like a lot for digital books. I told you I was the Thrifting Queen!
skirt : fat fancy

belt : fat fancy
shoes : payless
rosette fascinator : giant dwarf
brooch : thrifted

I have been trying to present myself from different angles in outfit posts. I have no problem with what I look like from the side but was getting in the habit of doing the same poses. As you can see I am shaped much like a matryoshka doll!
My favorite part of this outfit is my newly thrifted tooth brooch. It is a happy little tooth, holding a toothbrush which seems silly. Because either that is a huge tooth or a very small toothbrush. I almost left it behind the counter at the thrift store but we went back for it. So glad we did!

I really like your fascinator and brooch. Two small details but they are my favorites!
I love that sweater! And oh my goodness, I LOVE Game of Thrones! I'm completely in love with the TV show but haven't had the chance to get into the books. I've heard they're awesome though, so I hope you enjoy them!

That outfit looks fabulous on you! (P.S. I'm a newbie that stumble across your blog - it's lovely :) )
It is quite easy to download (free) books in pdf, or even kindle formats. I also have all the audio books for my iphone/ipad and I would love to share if you're interested.
cute outfit!!! I hear the Game of Thrones books are awesome! My boyfriends mom owns them all and offered them to me for reading. I'm going to take her offer up at some point.
Your hair looks extra-cute in these pictures! It's such a vibrant shade now.
You ARE the queen! I am swooning over your belted cardigan/sweater gorgeousness! ACK!!! And the yellow flowers in your pink hair....oh my.
Game of Thrones freaked me right out....apparently not my genre AT ALL! But I was happy to pass it along to my Dad, and now he can't stop talking about them!
Do you ever have a bad hair day!? Seriously your hair is a dream in these photos and that headband is SO cute. I love that you feel like you've been crowned. What a great thing to think and feel all day as you prance around in your cute outfit.
I'm a huge Game of Thrones fan (when it comes to the show). I can't bring myself to read the books. It seems like they would bog you down with so many names and names of kingdoms and then you'd explode from information overload. I hope you enjoy them, though. Report back!
That skirt is beautiful and I love the colour of your cardigan!
Such a super cute outfit!! You look sooo cute!! :)
