Remember when I posted part one so long ago? I guess you might be wondering if part two would ever show up. Here it is! I about fell over when I saw the above ceramic plaque. The orange is really quite bright in real life and the faux wood grain is pretty awesome. I may have never seen anything like it.
Even though we have run out of mug storage space, I couldn't help myself with these three. Especially Ron's mug with the handy dandy mustache guard. Nothing is worse than dipping your mustache in hot coffee.
I found this bright orange fondue pot in perfect condition and then found the stand somewhere else. I see a trip to Trader Joe's for their yummy bier fondue very, very soon.
Well, I guess I got more mugs. I have been especially attracted to bright orange, yellows and greens. Can you tell? From left to right: mushrooms, daisies and an owl. It is sort of hard to tell but the owl eyes are in the holes and the beak is on the handle. Very clever!
So more kitschy odds and ends.
I haven't figured out if this works yet. I don't have a key!
I have been keeping my eye out for new, in the package perfume. Both of these were originally from Target but instead of paying the tag price of $30, I paid thrift store prices of $7. And those plastic flowers are from the 60's and in unbelievably good condition.
Real mounted butterflies in frames. They seem so exotic and rare!
Soup mug, shaker, jar and dishes. I can't stay away from those bright colors!
A mushroom gravy boat that will hold vegetarian mushroom gravy.
New fall cookie cutters.
Although I have slowed down on the owls, I find ones I like still.
These beautiful brooches were found in two separate trips. I love how detailed they are and of course, the wood grain. I love looking for brooches to add to my collection.
Thrifting will always be my preference for shopping. I get asked where I buy my clothes and other things. Usually the answer is the thrift store. It takes patience, a watchful eye and frequent trips but I enjoy it. It is something that the mister and I like to do together. Have you had any thrifting luck lately?

Can I just live at your house with all your thrifting treasures?
Ohhh those butterflies! You are lucky to find them. I have a huge obsession with preserved butterflies. I always assumed I'd inherit my Dad's HUGE collection, and had been looking forward to it, but then he got rid of them all without telling anyone... he had hundreds. Rare ones too! Gutted :(

You have the best luck thrifting! All the shops round me have suddenly gone up in price and I just can't justify spending £30 on an incomplete tea set. You manage to get so many pretty things though! I love those flowery plates xo
AMAZING stuff. Wow!!
I love everything here! I think we have the exact same taste. EXACT. :-)
I have to say that this is a pretty amazing haul! I'm in love with pretty much every single item! I totally agree that it takes a lot of patience when shopping at thrift stores...that and a good eye!
