Introducing Clementine

Look what showed up on our doorstep! It's hard to believe that we have taken in another stray purebred kitten. I don't understand where they come from! First Marie, our Himalayan, jumped into our arms from the bushes. After needing dental surgery, she was good as new and joined our family. Now, this week, this adorable Siamese kitten has been hanging around our door. She's been bothering the neighbors that aren't cat lovers, to my dissatisfaction. How can you say no to such a sweet face?!?! One of the neighborhood kids even went around checking to see if anyone lost her. I started feeding her and gave her a box to sleep in. I was worried about her being cold and it started becoming obvious that she was homeless, but it didn't seem like for long because she looked taken care of. I had no choice but to let her in! Insert crazy cat lady moment here. I checked online and nobody was missing her. So we decided to take her to the vet today and make her an official member of the family!

I am guessing she is a little over 6 months old. She weighed 6 pounds and came back with a clean bill of health, besides a little flea debris and an umbilical hernia which isn't serious. We are guessing she needs to be spayed and the vet said that the hernia can be easily fixed while they are spaying her. All good news!

She is a total sweetheart and loves sitting on your lap and hanging out on your shoulder. She is still a little wary of the other cats but is slowly adjusting. Marie tries to slowly approach her, Wednesday has been stalking her with the widest eyes I have ever seen and Sandy has been glaring at her from across the room. Ah, cats.

I'm in love!

What a beautiful kitty. Wow, what luck in finding a purebred. Who would abandon such a pretty girl? I love the name Clementine too. Cute. :) I wanna smoosh that face.

She's gorgeous! I love siamese kitties as they tend to be "talkers"...I have only one cat. We tried to have more but when we did, our normally very sweet and snugly kitty turned into Church from Pet Semetary. She was attacking all of us and made it clear the new one was not welcome. So now my folks have a cat! I secretly think our cat thinks she's one of our dogs (we have 3 since hubby is a dog lover)!

What a gorgeous girl! I'm glad you decided to give her a loving home. People in our neighborhood aren't cat friendly either so we keep a close eye on our boy.

She's so pretty! Looks like you caught the kitty saving bug like we have. The hernia will be easily fixed, we have an orange boy who had one and he's good as new now. Good luck with your new kitty! <3

She's a beauty!!! So adorable!!! If only my folks here were pet people... the only pet we had was a small dog when I was 8... huge mistake according to them, superb times according to me.. I want a house full of kitties now, though, I have to wait a bit for a proper job and then... off the nest :D

D'awww! how cute!!
I think a lot of times purebred animals tend to be less-well-treated, unfortunately, because people get them for status rather than because they want to bring a new family member into their home. We found our kitty the same way, and he's the sweetest cat I may have ever known.
Congrats on the newest addition to your home :)
