We are used to seeing the same images and hearing the same messages over and over. I want to provide an alternative. Even an alternative way of thinking for most people. Love your body. It's your business how you take care of it and actually not even your responsibility to love it. People can be healthy at any size, but it's still not anybody's obligation to be healthy or prove their health. This world has a strong fat-phobia and it is acceptable and even encouraged to express your bigotry. Otherwise respectable adults become bullies and are rewarded for it. They police other people's bodies and eating habits. They are misogynist, ableist, privileged and concern trolls. Those people can fuck off. View the original ad here.

I am currently 274lbs and this week embarked on yet another diet as I have been terrified into it by my doctor who tells me it is a "medical imperative" I lose weight - I have health anxiety as it is and thus I feel like a ticking time bomb. I have read about the Fat Paradox but it has done little to alleviate my concerns and is not helped by my mother constantly going on about how she is worried about me. Conversely she is also worried about my sister for being too thin (she's a size 4/6).
Also, here in the UK we have only a few stores that sell cute clothes for fatties - I am 40 but not yet ready to dress like an old lady and that irritates me - I think it's a form of discrimination that all store don't do all sizes!!
I'm loving your blog and hope my visits will allo some of your confidence to rub off.
