OOTD: Cozy Fall Get-Up

This is what I throw on when it is cold as balls and I have 15 minutes to get ready for work. Also, this shirt is actually a dress. You can have the fashion without following the rules. I recently got a F21 dress without trying it on and it doesn't fit. Boo! But I am thinking about wearing it unzipped with a cardigan. I used to get really, really frustrated with finding clothes. I still get frustrated. I may have recently left sweating and cursing from a certain plus size store because I couldn't find a pair of pants that fit me right. Evident by the 10 pairs I left in the dressing room. I used to just go without and be sad. But now I make due and wear what I want. Sometimes that means letting go of being able to wear what everybody else wears. But fuck that. I gotta wear what is comfortable and purty to me. Of course, I wish that plus size clothing was more accessible and affordable. What doesn't kill us, makes us stronger right? Or just a kick ass fat bitch that doesn't take any shit.

I love your OOTD posts. I think the scalloped edges on your cardigan really tie in with the stripes on your dress. :)

Keep posting OOTD! I have zero sense of style whatsoever on my own and thrive solely off of roller derby clothes (which don't have to match and almost aren't supposed to) and khakis and polos for work. You inspire me to amp it up every now and then!

You gorgeous girl, I love this outfit! And you know what? Post whatever the chicken you want. There isn't just one element of your personality, there shouldn't be just one aspect of your blog. Share what you want. :)

I used to have that exact sweater and I think I sold it on my old plus sized vintage etsy shop. It's such a cute sweater and I love the dress you paired it with! Adorable as always. :)

Oh, I hope even if you get inspired to post radical-ness all the time you will still share your style with us! I'm always inspired by it.

I adore this outfit. And I love that your blog fluctuates from fatshion to activism and back and forth. It makes my own fluctuations in the energy I feel in my fat acceptance journey feel more okay. Thanks so much for what you do!!

This is such a great outfit. I've been desperate to try their plus line, but wasn't sure about the fit. Thanks for posting this, as it's super cute and incredibly helpful!

Oh, that brooch! What a cute outfit. I giggle with joy each time I see your beautiful wall-of-vintage-goodness behind you, too. :)

I love your outfit posts because you thrift, also I can saythat one of the reasons this is my fav HAAS blog because you don't just do activism, but you don't just do OOTD either...I like the mix of vintage and life and tidbits about Portland. And cats!

I just love your blog. I have some friends who are "bigger" but beautiful and don't like to be in front of a camera EVER. I always refer them here and tell them to rock their size like you always do. I wish I could be as confident as you are!
