OOTD: Polka Dots and Hair Talk

I checked my Instagram today to see how long it took me to grow my pixie out last time. It was about 7 weeks. Well, it was long enough to fake a beehive and wear a scarf! Then after hiding it under a scarf it grows before I know it because I don't have to deal with a shaggy mess. Anywho, my point is that I am probably growing my hair out again. I love the pixie but it is fun to change. I mostly cut it short this time to remove a lot of damage and layers upon layers of hair dye. Secretly, I still wish it could just grow out overnight. All this bullshit hair talk is to keep myself accountable and grow it out again. This may be the last "pixie" outfit post for a while (maybe)! At least it is with my favorite new shirt.

top : modcloth
leggings : walmart
cardigan : target
flats : payless
glasses : coastal
lipstick : dollar store

You were the inspiration for my asymmetrical pixie and I am so in love with it. So, yay and thanks. Happy growing.

Adorable look. You always look so damn cute! I have this cardigan and I love it. So soft. I also got it in a Persimmon color. I really need some polka dots in my wardrobe.

OMG I am the same! I cut my hair then instantly want it grown out again. Wish my hair was like the magic hair Barbie I remember from being a child! Then I could just pull out a new hunk, and bypass the wait ;) LOL

I wish I had the guts to cut mine that short.....my face is too round. Also, that polkadot shirt looks fab on you girly!

Aaah, you are so cute <3 I keep having dreams about how my hair magically is shoulder length.. so I feel ya. growing hair is kinda boring, but at least I'm not obsessing so much over it. After all, it does grow back and all of a sudden you have so much hair and wonder where it all came from :p

I shaved EVERYTHING off this summer (pretty wild amirite? I was HOT!) and I'm currently in the pineapple stage, haha. I had just stubble on my head around 20th of August (last time I shaved it) and I'm looking forward for gravity to work on my hair, lol. I think it's around 2.5-3 cm now. I have so many annoying cowlicks on my head and can't wait till they're less noticable. And a fringe! I look sooooo much forward to having a proper fringe again <3 for the pineapple all I can say is HOORAY FOR SCANDINAVIAN LONG WINTERS AND KNITTED HATS!

I totally agree! I've had a bunch of different hair lengths this year and finally cut my final pixie in August and am growing it out now. It's fun, but there are times when I wish hair would grow instantly so I could try all the styles at my own leisure.

P.S. That top rocks and looks like it was made to be worn with that mint cardigan. So perfect!

I love the mint sweater. I went through many cuts before finally committing to growing out my hair. And Disqus does not seem to have spell check when I really need it? I dunno lol
